Dr. Kremchek, I wanted to thank you and Dr. Daggy for your help with my Daughter's ankle injury. I was impressed by your personable approach and very pleased with the way you handled her injury. With your treatment and help she was back playing in 4 weeks and contributed greatly to her Lebanon Jr. High softball team that went 19-0 and won the GWOC middle school championship. Thank you very much and I will recommend you whenever possible. Nothing against you or your staff but I hope this great experience is our last! Thanks again. |

I truly believe that first impressions are lasting. Today I had the opportunity to accompany my wife to your facility on Kemper Road for an appointment with Dr. Kremchek. My wife, as a patient, had a terrific experience with both the Dr. Kremcheck and with everyone she came into contact with at Beacon. I'll let her respond personally regarding her visit. She's the patient. The purpose of my note is to recognize the friendly, helpful, and pleasant environment throughout the Beacon facilty. Everyone I spoke to, and even made eye contact with, smiled and said hello. I came there today tired and apprehensive about what to expect but left feeling good that there are people out there that still like their jobs and will take the time and make the extra effort to make visitors feel more than welcome. You've got something special happening at Beacon that a lot of companies could learn from!! |

I chose Beacon because I was not getting relief from my pain at another office. I am so happy that I came to Beacon and that Dr. Kremchek did my hip arthroscopy. I now live without pain and am getting back into distance running slowly but surely. It was absolutely worthwhile, and I don't regret the time I spent recovering and in PT at all. It was a few months so that I could get back to running - I would like to be able to run for a lifetime, and I am sure that the care I received at Beacon will help me to achieve this goal! |

Hey Dr. Kremchek, i doubt you remember me but my name is Jay Laurienzo. You performed Tommy John surgery on me August 7th 2008. I live about five houses down from Dr. Millers son in Tampa Florida. I am sending you this email as a sign of gratitude and appreciation for what you do. I have recovered almost completely from my surgery to this day and have no pain in my elbow anymore thanks to you, which to many im sure is not that big of a deal, but when dealing with my injury for as long as i did means more than words can describe. I will be attending Florida Gulf Coast University this coming fall on a division one baseball scholarship. I am planning, if all goes well to become an orthopaedic surgeon just like you. You have inspired me to help athletes with unfortunate mishaps just like me. Still when my friends get hurt and ask me who i recommend to see, i tell them go to Dr. Kremchek, even though your all the way in Ohio. If you want the best treatment, then you need to go the best. As of now i am enrolled in a junior internship program at the James A. Haley VA Hospital and observe orthopaedic surgery at least once a week along with interacting with patients daily. I do not mean to waste your time with this email because im sure you recieve more than you want, but again thank you so much on behalf of my family and most importantly me.

I had Tommy John surgery in February 2007, missing my junior
year of high school baseball. I finished my senior year at St. Xavier High School with a 6-1 record. I am now a Freshman at Parkland College in Champaign, IL. I got my first collegiate win (6-4) on Thursday, March
19th in the NJCAA Spring sbc phone Training Tournamnet at the Cal Ripken facility in Myrtle Beach. I then relieved in the fifth inning of a double header
on Sunday, March 22nd and worked three strong innings allowing two hits
while walking one and striking out eight to pick up the save. My arm is
doing great and I am continuing on with my baseball career. Thanks Dr. K
and rehab staff. Richie |

Dr. Kremchek, Just wanted to give you an update on Alex. He pitched his first game for Texas A&M last weekend. He threw 6 2/3 innings and had 14 strikeouts. He won. Anyway, his fastball velocity was averaging 93-94 and hit 95 quite a number of times. Otherwise, he has full arm strength back and feels great. We also wanted to thank you again for doing such a fantastic job and giving him back his shot at fulfilling his dream of becoming a pro pitcher. Anyway, we thought you would like an update. Thanks Again,Jim |

Dr. Kremchek, I just wanted to say one more time thank you for doing such a wonderful job on my daughter Jennifer today. I still can not believe how amazed I was to watch you work today; you are truly an amazing surgeon. Thank you again. |

My son had tommy john at Beacon July 31st, 2007. With hard workand the expert care and advise he recieved from everyone at Beacon he was able to pitch in our high school post season. He made three appearences, faced nine batters, had 7k's, 1 walk, no hits, 3 saves. This was just enough for some college coaches to notice him again after being out his entire senior season. Everyone at Beacon was great, I wish I could remember all their names. But I must thank Troy Merckle and Dr. Kremchek. I would like to add that I felt like my son was treated as well as any major league player that we seen there. |

Dear Dr. Kremcheck, Words can not express the gratitude I have for what you have done for my son Joey. He was selected a 17u SWOL all star catcher and will play at the Great American Ball Park this Wed Aug 6th 15 minutes after the Reds Brewers game. This is less than a year from his Tommy John surgery you performed on him last August. Wright State is seriously looking at him. Thank you so much. This is only possible because of you.

My 19 year old son dislocated his elbow last March while
snowboarding on spring break. We had lived in the Cincinnati area for
less than a year, and didn't know who to use for a doctor in this
circumstance. I am delighted we found Beacon. We had our initial appointment within 24 hours of Pete's arrival back in
town from the snowboarding trip. During that late Friday afternoon visit he was diagnosed, had an MRI, had a consulting phone call with Dr. K who
was in FL at spring training, and received his pre-op screening. The
staff stayed later than 5 pm to help us.His surgery was scheduled for 7 am on the following Tuesday - again with
Beacon making adjustments to fit with Pete's academic schedule at
IU-Bloomington (He has a full ride academic scholarship there and was
concerned about minimizing absences from class). I watched the surgery which went off without a hitch, very promptly, and
was together with Pete during his rapid recovery and stay in your
post-surgical area. The Dr. follow-up was excellent, and we were home by
noon where Pete had a meal before returning to Bloomington - and NO he
didn't go to class that afternoon, but he was in class the following day. Beacon arranged for his physical therapy in Bloomington and provided
excellent follow-up services. Services that were basically on time. I
don't believe we waited more than a few minutes beyond our scheduled
appointment times - almost unheard of, in a busy medical office. I am rehashing all of this for you largely because I am in the medical
business myself (I've spent 18 years with various Orhtopedic companies),
and because my profession is quality assurance and regulatory affairs. You should feel very proud of the level of quality you are providing everyday. I have seen many quality systems throughout my work experience, at
suppliers, hosptials, medical device manufacturers, regulators and others. I have almost never seen a system that works as well as the one that you
have in place. Congratulations on your processes and systems . . . you do a fine job.
Thank you very much. |

You operated on my son in July 2007, and I want to thank you. You released the capsule and repaired the bicep in his right shoulder, and the shoulder is still feeling fine---the best it's felt since it was injured the first time and after the first surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Insisting that he do therapy at a sports rehab facility instead of with the Eastern Michigan trainers was absolutely the best stipulation you could have given us! Other baseball players went through the trainers last year and most of it was a disaster. Thank you, thank you, thank you! He was able to DH and pinch hit last year and is hoping to nail down 1st base this season. You are the best! Thanks for everything that you did for him! |
