Hip Arthroscopy
Dr. Kremchek attended two VIP physician to physician training seminars across the country from Minnesota to Boston, MA. The seminars consisted of multiple days of didactic lecture as well as hours of hands on lab experience. Because of Dr. Kremchek’s stellar experience and training with arthroscopic treatment of the shoulder, elbow and knee, since the early 90s, this training process was second nature. The major areas of hip arthroscopy were addressed , including treatment for removal of loose bodies, labral and tendon repair. Patients are scheduled for a comprehensive evaluation in the office, x-rayed, and possibly sent to MRI to rule out labral tears and early signs of osteoarthritis. This may or may not include a hip injection for better imaging and diagnostic purpose. At that time, a formal reading is obtained, to establish the best course of action . If hip arthroscopy is suggested as the most conservative and appropriate treatment, this can be done as an out patient procedure with physical therapy starting immediately following the surgery. Dr. Kremchek and his medical team provide all of these services under one roof. The Beacon Orthopaedic Center at Summit Woods in Sharonville has extensive and detailed, imaging and surgical services. To schedule an initial evaluation, contact 513-354-3700.
